Gary Marzolf began his formal yoga practice in 1996, and he has been working with his mentor, Patti Cervone, since 2001. His teaching style has been grounded in Kripalu Yoga, and he has studied with senior instructors at the Kripalu Center for Yoga in Stockbridge, MA, where he received his teacher training. For the past eight years, he has taught in wellness centers, spas, local YMCA’s and high schools and is currently teaching yoga classes as a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh in Titusville.
Gary is also trained in Reiki, an ancient Eastern healing art that has recently caught on in modern Western medicine, particularly as a supplement to cancer treatment. He incorporates this healing modality in his restorative yoga classes. Gary’s goal with InTransit Yoga is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for his students to experience the many benefits of yoga.
